I'm thinking of you.
To, Jelly. And others who should feel themselves related.
I have finished the second book I brought home with me from Kuala Lumpur. It's Haruki Murakami's 1Q84. It was a pleasant book to read. It certainly strengthen my attraction to his work.
The first book I read was Perks of Being a Wallflower which I finished within 24 hours of buying it and left me with a peculiar feeling. Frankly, it made me feel like I was poorly-read and without good taste in music. I didn't quite get what happened and wasn't quite fond of the style. Nonetheless, it was a good book. I suppose i'd understand it better the second time I read it.
A lot of the books I bought were classics. I bought Wuthering Heights for RM2, second-hand of course. Quite interesting was a name of the previous owner written in it though I couldn't really decipher the writing. I also got The Great Gatsby, The Beautiful and The Damned, This Side Of Paradise, Sense And Sensibility among others. They all honestly sound like great reads but I don't think I can finish them as fast as I do other books. I tried reading a classic a few times back and I managed to get a couple of pages in my head until the words just made no sense to me anymore.
Charlie in Perks of Being a Wallflower who was younger and the same age as me could read them with ease-even called a few his favorites- so I'm going to try too.
I won't be coming to school tomorrow or the day after because honestly It's just wasting time and makes me feel uncomfortable. I'd thought they'd be teaching classes as they said they'd be but I guess their idea of teaching is not the same as mine for now.
On Saturday I'll be attending a class celebration event at some hotel. It being 'at some hotel' gives me the idea to predict that it will be boring. Still, it'd be rude and unthoughtful not to attend. Still, they could've set one at the beach, it's nearer to school and in my experience, never fails to actually be fun.
Aside from reminding you that I may not be online as much because internet's just grown tad dull for me right now, that's it. Have a good week.
P.S The titles in bold means that you should check them books up.
P.P.S. Side note to Jelly, that picture of my blue dress I owe you may take a while.
P.P.P.P.P.P.P.S. I just forgot to tell you. Happy Halloween!
