Kill me now.
After SPM (equivalent to O-level)
I've got to take pre-university-1year
Then, Bachelor's degree - 4 years
Then, Master's degree - 2 years
All that equals to 7 more years of studying.
Not to mention waiting for results.
So I have to wait 7 years to get an income.
I'll be 25-26 years old by then, and I'll be working for a starter's wage.
Another gunshot,
Pre-university costs from 3k - 20k. 10k above being foreign universities with local campuses. The government-funded matriculation is free though.
Bachelors degree is 152k for 4 years in Monash.
Masters degree is like 20k.
A total of 200k spent in 7 years.
Kind of the same cost as a franchise.
Relevant quote - Time is money.

you know, this all depends on what you want to do. as napoleon hill said, u gotta know what you want. the how (plans), is not as important. it needs to be there but u can always improvise if something doesn't quite work out. but you have to know what you really want.
do take note that when anybody gives u advice about life, u're the one who's taking all the risks. like me here. i'd tell u this and thats is so cool but in the end, u're going to be paying the bills. :D
That's a problem I don't know how to deal with. I tried googling 'How to know what I want to do with my life' and frankly it's not working out so well.
Any tips on that?
p.s. I'm actually quite easily intimidated by the likes of most people . I'm trying to get over that too but it's really easier said than done when you have issues with your own mum. She's a 'society' person a.k.a. government zombieeee. She was recently blasting about how if someone with more experience than you gives you advice, you shut up and do it because you know no better.
