It just dawned on me, like a moment of salvation, that what I actually want, is a bench. A bench.
I don't want a sofa for my room. Or a beanie bag chair. Or colorful vintage chairs. Or an Eames chair. I want a simple dark wood bench against my blue walls. Okay.
Besides that, I've compiled a list of things I'll be hunting down for my room.

Besides that, I've compiled a list of things I'll be hunting down for my room.
- White 100% Egyptian cotton sheets, over 200 thread count. They do cost quite a lot of money in my opinion, so I might take a while. Hopefully this year's Raya will bring much prosperity, eh?
- Soft full length lightweight curtains with a flimsy flowing look. All the curtain's I've seen are rough and look quite stiff as is. I've an idea to go to a textile shop and make one instead of buy ready-made but I haven't for some reason. I'll make a mental note to do so next time I visit the mall.
- A huge green plant. I hesitated on buying one before because of maintenance and finance concerns. Now I think it'll be very worthwhile in improving my bedroom's appearance.
- Vintage fans. Feng shui says it's bad having a ceiling fan chopping the air above where you sleep. I ignored that when I read it the first time at The Tao Of Dana. Then again, having a few colorful fans around your room is bound to be interesting.
