Just a reminder to make sure I don't forget to homeschool my kids when I do have kids. I think the school systems are rubbish, really. School makes me feel like shit.
I get stupid assignments like folios which I don't see the point of, syllabuses that teaches us things we aren't interested in and a system that pulls us away from something we are actually interested in.
Rather than go to school, I would rather wake up at 7 to a blue sky than at 6 to a black sky. Eat a delicious breakfast after a relaxing shower than shower while I'm half-awake and eat hard unhealthy rice at the school canteen. Read about the French revolution, the hundred years of war, Queen Elizabeth and about Zimbabwe than listen to the teacher drone on about bad Communists and good Malay warriors and black pepper plantations every. class.
I'd rather learn French that will actually be useful later on in life than Malay which I can't use out of Malaysia and Indonesia.
I'd rather paint, draw, play guitar, sew or develop any useful skills than be pressured into doing folios and attend the horribly boring and annoying music classes in school. Music being taught to students of different levels is a waste of time to those who already know the basics. Don't you think one on one is a better way to teach? But of course I wouldn't know, I'm not the teacher.
Well my point is, they treat us all the same. Regardless the fact that everyone's different.
Some may do well on the pressure they put on us to succeed in academics, but the other some are just not suited for that world, or simply learn differently. Schools can't tolerate 'different' because their system isn't built for two, it's too general.
I don't think i'm putting up a good argument on my part, I'm no good at explaining or expressing myself in words. I just feel like shit at school. I don't mix with those bubbly happy perfect people. Sometimes sure, I don't mind talking to them but dealing with it everyday suffocates me.
But don't worry. I'll just fucking adapt to them.
Also, schools in Malaysia are humid as fuck. Really destroys my skin, urghh the tragic tragedy. Heat, hair and skin do not mix. I have to tie my hair up everyday, super annoying really.
